18 months and still counting

Kayne is approaching 18 months by end July. How time flies! Getting cheekier by the minute and exhibiting 'terrible two' syndromes occasionally. Overall, still a good boy (that's in Daddy's words). Not speaking yet but definitely communicating in his own way. He is pretty good at getting us to do what he wants. He will tug at our hands or feets (especially Mommy's) and lead us to his pursuits. He sits patiently at the entrance doorstep for his shoes to be worn but shouts incessantly at the lift lobby if we take too long to lock up the house. The concept of waiting is simply incomprehensible to him at this point!

He has settled surprisingly well at his own side of the bedroom and has grown very attached to his bolsters - Bolster 1 and Bolster 2 (we imagine this is how Dr Seuss might call them). He loves a clapping audience when hitting those keys on the piano or 'strumming' the guitar. In the day, he tip toes around the house and does a vague resemblance of the MJ moonwalk at times. During evening playtime in the park, he loves to walk up slopes (on his own) and run down slopes (hand-in-hand with Mommy, not by choice of course :P).

Here are some of our favourite pictures...

Evening playtime is the best time of the day, especially if Daddy is home early.

Click on this pic to check out the mozzie above Kayne's left eye. Mommy's too busy getting a Kodak moment and Daddy...erm, oblivious. Poor boy.

Having a bubbly good time!

  1. Already 18 months old and soon will be giving commands to us all. He will pick up really fast once he gets to nursery cos everyone else will be talking too. Definitely my favourite blog cos I get to catch up with the antics of my beloved nephew. Ku ma is missing you a lot.
