Little swimmer

"Freestyle? It's easy!"

Kayne is growing very fond of the swimming pool. A walk by the pool may end up in huge tears if he does not get to go for a dip, especially if there are many kids waddling happily in the pool.

Mozzies alert

A patch a day, keeps the mozzies away;
By the way, that's 80 cents a day!
Do we have to pay and pay;
To keep the mozzies at bay?
(Sob sob)

Bad hair day?

Not really. That's what a 30-minute bike ride at
East Coast Park does to his hair :)

The Woodsman Poem

Take a look at my friend's niece reciting a poem. It's too cute!

Endless wonders

At the roller blind chain, again.

Walking and still happy!

Everywhere we go, we see toddlers being happily carried or enjoying a ride in the pram. When it comes to Kayne, he has to get down to the ground and explore. We wonder how long this would last. Some say eventually they will get smarter and demand to be carried. Let's wait and see. Meanwhile, here's the happy face that comes with every opportunity to roam free.

Barney

There's just this thing about kids and Barney that click so well like 'bread and butter', 'fish and chips' or 'nasi lemak and ikan bilis' - you get the drift. Kayne saw the Barney kiddie ride in a mall and was so pleased to be sitting in one. He tapped Barney & Baby Bop affectionately as if meeting old friends. Little did he know these coin-operated rides come with movement, lights and music.

Okaylah...next time we'll pop in the $2 coin :)

Splish Splash

Just as Kayne is getting really good at splish-splashing at bathtime, we thought it may just be about the right time to go dipping in the pool again and we are right!

Doodle 4 fun

Here's Kayne and Mommy trying out the Aqua Doodle mat. The fast dry, paper-free design is ingenious. All that is needed is water to fill up the magic doodle pen and TADAH ~ a line appears. Little Picasso is however, a little distracted. :)
