Bubble-catching

What did Kayne do on Fathers' Day 2009? He went bubble-catching with Daddy and Mommy at East Coast Park. We found a fantastic corner at the East Coast Hawker Centre overlooking the sea and some greens which was great as it gave Kayne plenty of space to run around while we enjoyed our satay and coconut juice. We'll definitely go back for more.....bubbles and satay!

"Daddy, please don't stop. Keep it coming!"

"Yes, that's the way!"

Laughing Corner: Take 3

Btw, Kayne is a big fan of his videos! Wonder what goes through his head when he watches them and smile.

Laughing Corner: Take 2

Can someone translate the end part please?

Laughing Corner: Take 1

Kayne took the hairband from Mommy's head and went straight to the Laughing Corner. Other favourite items to go down the Laughing Corner are Kayne's toys and Mommy's bead necklace. At least if things go missing, we know where to find them.

When you're happy & you know it, shake your head!

There's a special place in the house somewhere between the piano and chair where things after given a slight push go way, way down and disappear. We call it the Laughing Corner. This week, just as Kayne turned 16 months, he expresses his delight with bouts of laughter and some serious head shaking. Sometimes, all the shaking causes him to lose balance and fall.

Twinkle stars

Kayne visited Aunty Cindy's (Mommy's TKGS school mate) place at Taman Desa in KL and got acquainted with beautiful Hannah. Hannah's just turned 3 and sings really well. Take a look at Prima Donna's sidekick going off on a tangent.

Old Rattan Chair

It seems so sad to say goodbye to a nice old chair such as this one at Uncle Michael's. Kayne is quick to spot the gem and learnt much about it with Yeh Yeh's encouragement.

Howler

Kayne's been quite fascinated watching Mommy howl like a Red Indian. Here's Po Po giving Kayne a little hand.

One fine morning ~ Part 2

It was a fine morning indeed! Kayne's grown very fond of the steps too. Here are more shots.

One fine morning ~ Part 1

One fine morning at Po Po's place, Kayne was in a bubbly mood and posed happily for pictures. He's grown very fond of the couch. Take a look!

Do men ever grow up?

I guess the answer is no. Here's Mark going through his collection of toys, while Kayne was napping at Mama's place. Still in good condition, going through the exercise of thrashing or keeping was tough. In the end, we carted 2 boxes of toys back to Singapore for keeps.

Pixim: "Great! Kayne would love these toys!"

Mark: "No! These are MINE."

Mind you, he was quite serious when he said it. Help, I think we need a bigger store.

@Mama's

Here's Kayne with Ma Ma, after his nap.

Trip to KL

The trip up to KL this time around was simply excellent. Kayne was a splendid traveller. He sat in the car seat the whole way till we arrive at Yong Peng where we had some food and he enjoyed good ol' Malaysian keropok! After Yong Peng, he slept the whole way to KL. What an angel!

Upside Down World

Mommy's thrilled and very proud of herself to have successfully caught Kayne on camera doing erm... the stunt above. Wonder what's going through his head. He was at that position long enough for Mommy to run and get the camera and snap away :)
