Tyre track painting

Last week at playgroup, Kayne and classmates did some tyre track painting. It involved dipping toy vehicles into trays of paint and rolling them on a paper to make track marks. Kayne wasted no time. Completely ignoring the toy truck, he dipped his fingers into the purple and orange paint and the rest was history!

Not long, both his hands were drenched in paint. Paint got onto everything - his shirt, pants, socks, face, hair, Mommy's eye, hair and blouse. Classmates nearby were not spared as well. If clothes could be an indicator of how much fun he had that day, well here's what the fun-indicator has to say:

+

= MESSY FUN

It was interesting that some kids managed to keep their clothes clean. Kayne was without a doubt the messiest and the only one who had a change of clothes after the activity. Thank goodness for 100% washable paint. I wished I brought the camera to class that day.

  1. Well, I can tell you who he takes after..... Mark always came back from school with the dirtiest white shirt and shoes until the day came when he had to clean his own shoes! Might be a bit young to start Kayne on that though :p
