The end of June was rather eventful. Kayne celebrated Daddy's birthday, attended his first playgroup and visited the Singapore Zoo. The highlights of the zoo visits were the elephant show, the white tiger taking a dip in the moat, the water slide at the 'Rainforest Kidzworld' and the tram ride!
Kayne loved the tram ride. It was the first time he sat between Daddy & Mommy not doing very much i.e. moving or wanting to stand or walk, but just sitting ever so 'obediently' absorbing the view and the special zoo scent. It was a rare event. For a tiny second, it felt as if our little boy was all grown up :)

At the tram ride, Kayne got a little souvenir from the zoo - a mosquito bite between his left eyelid and eyebrow. Fortunately, the swelling has subsided.

ReplyDeleteYes, he enjoyed the zoo trip. We can't wait to go to the zoo again. Will see how the 2nd week at playgroup goes. Twice a week so far, 1.5 hours each time. He was walking around at story time last week! The teachers blow soap bubbles at the end of the class and sing a song that goes, "bye, bye bubbles" - our friend was the first to pounce on the bubbles :)
