Joy that walking brings

Last Saturday, Kayne walked to and fro between Mummy & Daddy repeatedly and thoroughly enjoyed the work out (Daddy and Mummy working out that is). The game includes Mummy giving hugs and Daddy picking him up after each round. We gave up after what seemed like the 15th round while Kayne was still going strong.

Oh, what a year!

2008 was an awesome year! The exciting, fun-filled days passed by so quickly, it was hard to believe that our baby was turning one. As Kayne's first birthday fell within the CNY period, we had a threefold celebration with our families across KL Spore to make it triply special.

Celebration down south, back at home with Daddy & Mummy.

Like father like son

Everyone says that Kayne looks very much like Daddy. The hair especially. Needless to say, Daddy's grinning from ear to ear.

Monkey business

Kayne has a great fascination for boxes and whatnots. Even the good old tissue box is not spared. Take a look!

Here we go a-biking

One of our favourite weekend activities is to go biking at East Coast Park with our beloved Kayne. Okay, did we mention that our favourite coffeeshop, Old Town White Coffee which offers the very yummy 'Ipoh Sa Hor Fun' is just within a stone's throw from the bike shop? *guilty laughter*

Kayne is usually with Daddy at the back seat while Mummy cycles alongside. Throughout the ride, Kayne takes in the breeze, the view and can't stop 'kicking' Daddy's behind! See where the little blue socks are headed for. These pictures were taken on a beautiful Sunday in January 2009.

O Christmas tree

The satisfaction of taking our own home videos, however amateurish is immense especially when our 11-month old baby is responding with laughter ever so consistently to the tune of "O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree! Thy candles shine so brightly!"

What can we say, the time was right, Christmas was in sight and the baby felt light! Ho, ho, ho!

Kayne & friends

Taking a group shot of kids between 10 months to 3 years of age is indeed an uphill task. Here's Kayne with Daddy, Rachel, Marissa, Aunty Jane, Brian and Marc at Aunty Jane's CNY celebration. (Clockwise from Left)

Oops, he got away again!

Boys will be boys

Here is Kayne & Naiomi 'playing' together at Aunty Luisa & Uncle Kelvin's pad, CNY 2009. This is a nice picture capturing beautiful Naiomi diligently doodling away and Kayne, er... going for the ball. Boys will be boys!

Boy in the mirror

Kayne is showing great interest in Daddy and Mummy's bedroom full length mirror. He catches glimpses of the smiley boy in the mirror and searches for him (?).

Maiden steps

This is one of Kayne's many attempts at walking solo captured on video on the night of February 23, 2009. He made great progress while Daddy & Mummy were at Kathmandu, Nepal attending Uncle Harry and Aunty Yogeeta's wedding.

Walking happy

Here is happy Kayne cruising along the Singapore Airport Terminal 3 with Daddy and Mummy over the weekend. Daddy discovered the secret to walking happy with Kayne is to let him dictate where to go, much to Kayne's delight!
